Private messenger
Communication designed to reduce persistent metadata while staying fast and familiar.
Most encrypted messengers protect what you say. The private messenger is designed to also protect who you talk to and when.
Design
- No phone number
- Contacts are added by exchanging a key or code, not by sharing a phone number or email.
- Temporary identities
- Conversations use rotating, pairwise identifiers. Two contacts cannot link your identity across conversations.
- Ephemeral channels
- Messages travel over the stealth network. Offline delivery uses fragmented, expiring storage.
- End-to-end encryption
- Content is encrypted on the device with forward secrecy, using established, reviewed protocols.
What the network sees
Relays see fixed-size encrypted cells. Storage nodes hold fragments they cannot read. No server keeps a contact list or a log of who messaged whom.
